So in today’s project management class we learned about the First principle approach which is basically about deconstructing and then reconstructing it to make it better and efficient. We deconstructed the assignments that were put up on the board and vomited all the actions that were needed in the form of words and then categorised them to make it a efficient list which is classified in main fundamentals and then broken further into pieces.
The basic formula of this is to first,
Break it down
Extrapolate, calculate requirements
Allocate resources
Track, monitor and document progress
The trick in this whole process is to find the repeated action and then put them in categories
While undertaking any project you should always self assess yourself and know if you’re really the right person to do that job, would I be able to fulfill the objectives.
What is the objective? (Goal)
When it is needed?(timeframe)
What do I have?(supply)
What do I need?(demand)
Before any project is sent out you must always check carefully, examine precisely and then send it out.
Post the above theory we discussed few of the directories of our classmates and tried to figure out how it could be more efficient and what were we lacking.
For further updates, stay tuned:)
