26.08.19, Today in Visual Story we started off by watching a shortfilm called Father and Daughter by Michael Dudok de Wit-ACME. It was an award winning film, the visuals being extremely simple yet conceptual played a very critical role in story telling. It had a deep underlying message which triggered the relatability factor of it.We then watch The monk and the Fish were I learnt a lot about how visuals can be perfectly timed with audios, thus increasing the whole sense of belonging. “Silence is a very critical aspect of sound track, use it wisely.”- Tony Sir We saw few concept art typography where I learnt how a simple word or character can be played with resulting an impactful meaning by itself. I had a question about how animation in Hum Tum is laid on top of the action film, if movies cannot be transparent, how can one over lap on top of the other?
