FS W7.1

So today in Film Studies we revised the components of a film, script and their difference from what a story is comprised of. We discussed our understanding from the word story, something which has a start middle and end. We further discussed how stories were linked events that linked by the help of conflict and resolution. There are three types of resolutions 1.Tragedy 2.Comedy 3.Open ended
Conflict is always between good side and the bad side,
Man(character) v/s self(eg. Tamasha)
Man v/s society
Man v/s God
Man v/s nature
Post understanding what conflict and resolution are we discussed what plot is. If there are 100 events in a film, the five key events that do not tell the details yet cover the whole story and the crucial key elements, those key words put together as a whole is the plot of the film.
We were then given two exercises where we were supposed to form a story, following below are few images of my notebook and the stories I wrote,

After the stories, Sir have us a script written by one of his students and paired us with one of the classmates. My partner was Abhishek and we were supposed we visualise the whole script and in the next drawing class we were supposed to draw thumbnails of the same scenes and shots.
